Garance is still working at RPI. He provided the following information in a note he sent earlier today:

• For the first few years of MTS at RPI, Jim Moss was the director.
• While John Kolb has been at RPI for as long as I have (we arrived here at RPI as part of the same freshman class!), I doubt he had much connection to the MTS community.  He is the guy who became the director after Robert Gallagher retired.
